Catch Tales of Manhattan, starring Henry Fonda, Ginger Rogers and Rita Hayworth, next month on MOMAXe.

Show Business at War is a 17 minutes long short film made in 1943 to tout the United States film industry’s contribution to the war effort. Several studios collaborated on the production and approximately 70 stars, producers, directors and studio executives appeared in it, including none other than Ms. Rita Hayworth.

The rare short will be shown on Turner Classic Movies tonight at 9:00 PM. I really and truly hope that someone will be able to record this and put on YouTube since it is so hard to come by. It would be just lovely to see it!

Turner Classic Movies is againing two Rita Hayworth movies next month, including Pal Joey and The Renegade Ranger, as well as a Rita documentary. If anyone is able to record and share the The Renegade Ranger and the documentary, please do get in touch! I’d love to see them myself and share with the fans since they are both unavailable on DVD.
